I Think Someone Told Me For Every 50ft Of Horizontal Pipe You Need To Add 1 Ft To Your Vertical Length For Shallow Well Pumps? But I Can't Find The Thread.

Do I Have This Correct?
So If Your Point Is Down 15ft And You Have 100ft Of Horizontal Pipe Then Your Vertical Lift Is Actually 17ft? ( Not To Exceed 25ft)
Thanks

I think what you are refering to is adding friction losses in the piping to the vertical lift that the pump must make.
Different sized piping has different losses, depending on the flow rate.

Do you know what it would be if i ran plastic for the horizontal pipe at 1 inch pipe ?
The vertical pipe is 1 1/4" metal pipe.
