Low pump pressure

Hi,

Recently I turned the well pump off for two week when I went on vacation. Upon returning, the well pressure is low (26 psi) and the pump runs continuously. FYI, the pump is at least 14 years old. Any idea what could have been the problem?

If this is a jet pump, it's jet is probably plugged. The jet could be on the pump or in the well.
