Can someone tell me how to remove this handle?

I'd like to replace the Avante cartridge on this Price Pfister but I can't figure out how to remove the handle. I've replaced this cartridge in the other bathroom but that handle has an easy-to-get-to button in the front.

I'm new to the forum but consider myself somewhat mechanically inclined. :cool:

The cap in the front should be snapped in, find a place to put a knife or small flat head srewdriver and pop it off underneath is a screw.

It screws on, but there is a rubber gasket between the cap and the handle which makes it turn hard. You an often put your palm on the cap and twist while pushing on it, otherwise carefully grab the edge of the cap with Channelocks and turn it. Once it moves a little bit it should unscrew by hand.
