I'm not old enough to remember this style of kitchen cabinet. I'm sure it was pretty classy in its day. If the customer had waited much longer to fix these leaks, the bottom would have completely rusted out.

My parents had something like that in the 50's
They started off in white.
Then they painted them yellow
Next they disappeared and they got some dark fake wood.
Then they wound up with Oak cabinets.

Each time the kitchen changed totally.

I really enjoyed that movie, lol. But, Georgie would had come home from work to find his bags packed, :D

Where was Ralphie with his Red Ryder bb gun? I haven't seen an incinerator since I got married and moved out of my parent's house.
I bet the neighborhood must have smelled really "ripe" with one of those in every home.

I still come across KS set-up that are wall mount with legs.
Some people in the inner city in the gentrified area's like the retro thing.
Just recently installed a Rohl side mount on one...the woman had it reglazed...looked pretty cool.
Also...you guys might remember the old style vinyl padded metal chairs...with the Kitchen table that had a chrome plated border...she had that too, all refinished.

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how burning dried trash could not produce any odors. The smoke must have been vented up and out. And all that smoke couldn't've smelled very good.
