Plumbing noise

I have two questions -

What can I do to stop our outside faucet from squealing when turned on. When my husband washes his truck it squeals the whole time whether he is using the water or not.

Also, when I turn on any inside faucets low there is a high pitched, screeching noise. Recently it has started happening when the refrigerator ice maker fills.

Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

noise

You probably have a pressure reducing valve, and it has failed and should be replaced.
