ok hears the deal i had to replace my 2inch packer assm 32 feet deep 1hp #16 jet and #27 nozzel It was a 1inch pvc drop with iron adapters on the ends conectting the pvc to the packer and adapter (note: so rotted i crushed it with chanel locks) Im looking to get the most gph and psi. If i go with a 1 1/4 drop pvc and or iron thaires no clearence between the cassing and the suction line if i use 1 1/4 copper i have the same clearencs as if i used 1 inch pvc or iron what would the differance be and would it be worth it

One inch or one and a quarter won't make that much difference. The PVC may, because you may never get that packer out again. A packer jet in a two inch well would be doing great to get 10 gpm. I have no idea what nozzle and venturi you have since most of the time they are measured in 32nds of an inch. The company I deal with uses a quarter inch nozzle for all settings and they change the venturi tube. The smallest being 9/32" and the largest being 1/2". The larger the venturi, the more water you get but you trade off pressure for volume.

bob...
