going from 1/2" feeds to 3/4" valves...

Hi, I just received the new valves for my shower project and although I ordered 1/2" to match my feeds they shipped me 3/4" thermostatic valve.....will this make a difference in pressure or water flow ? its 3/4" only at the val;ve itself...using ipex tubing ??

Not likely to do either because the feed pipe's size is more important as far as dynamic pressure and volume are concerned.

I have to disagree with hj. The 3/4" valve will supply more gpm then a 1/2" valve but less then the same 3/4" valve with 3/4" supply lines.
