I replaced the electric water heater, the old expansion tank was screwed in at the cold water line right next to the shut off in the upright position.
I brought a newer one but look like its suppose to be screwed on with the water pipe on top,at lease thats what the diagram pictured.
...I put it in the original upright and the product name is now upsidedown...
question is..does it make any difference???
The old model did not have any air valve, this one does.
am i suppose to pump air in there???

We have had low water pressure in this house for a year now and hoping this will solve this situation.....stay tumed

It makes no difference which way it points. The existing air charge should be adequate for your purposes. The tank will have no bearing on the house's water pressure, either to increase it or decrease it.
