Before our kitchen was remodeled we never had a problem with air coming out of the faucet but after a new sink and faucet were installed when it is turned on the water will start running and then there is also some air that comes out briefly.Does anyone have an idea as to what may be going on? THANKS.

air

No, unless you have a well and pump. Air cannot "get into" water pipes unless it is pumped in, so that would imply, if you do not have a well, that the air is getting into the faucet somehow, and to diagnose that we would have to know the make and model of the faucet, and might even have to see the actual installation.
