Constant pressure sys VS larger cap well tank

To extend the life of my well tank should I ...1) install a constant pressure system with a cycle stop valve OR ...2) increase the size of my well-x-trol tank from 4.4 gal to say 20gal.

1) First determine if you really need a CSV, do you have activities that require lots of water, i.e. irrigation.

2) Replacing your small tank with a larger tank will make that small tank last forever.

Regardless how much or little water you use, a CSV protects the pump from frequent start ups and gives more constant pressure.

Reducing pump start ups protects the pump and any size tank because the tank bladder flexes much less frequently. With a CSV you don't need a larger tank. And a CSV costs you less than half the lowest price for the smallest tank you can find.
