We are about to finish some plumbing in our home and were considering using a pex system.
We live in Minnesota and have heard about brass pex fittings failing within a year or two of installation. They are apparently failing because of stress corrosion cracking.
Does anyone know anything about this or heard of similar problems elsewhere?
