new washer drain

hello,

is it possible to put a washer drain into the 3 in pvc soil stack where a shower drain already exists? the shower drain uses a sump pump and i would tie in right above where it ties inn , height of about 26in. i will try to attach photo.thanks.

I'm not sure from the picture, which pipe you are considering.
I see a vent from the sump, and an outlet to the main stack.

It seems you could add a washer drain to the main stack and revent to the existing vent.

i would tie into the main stack with a 3x2 sanitary tee above the sump drain, how would i revent ? existing shower is vented by 2 in vent that also handles a bath upstairs. thanks again for your help.
