Popular Science has an article (http://www.popsci.com/popsci/whatsnew/article/0,20967,1016489,00.html) on dual flush toilets.
It talks about the Caroma (http://www.easycarts.net/ecarts/terrylove/Caroma_toilets.html), the Sterling, the Vortens and Mansfield toilets.
I've found the Caroma to work very well. Most of their models are regular bowl with a length of 28".

There are two buttons, one for half flush and one for a full flush.
