View Full Version : Hot Water in Sink

When I turn on the hot water in the bathroom sink, it comes on normal, then about a second later I hear noise in the pipe, and the pressure immediately drops. The noise is like a "boom".

I had some recent work done on my boiler and the plumber bled the system. It seems as though it has happened after that. The reason I did not promptly detect it is because I don't use that bathroom to often.

Could there still be some air in it and that is what is causing the problem?

If so, can somebody tell me how to bleed it. Thanks.

If there's air in there, it should bleed out simply by keeping the valve open for a minute or two. You may just have a loose washer.
