Using AquaPex with Rehau Everloc

Trying to find Raupex for the Rehau Everloc system is pretty hard, and the pipe seems to be about 50% more expensive than Wirsbo Aquapex. Has anyone tried using the Everloc connectors with non-Rehau pipe? I realize this violates the warranty but as a DIY I'm not getting a warranty anyway.
