Claw vs Spa Tub

We currently have a whirlpool tub however wanted to see if it's possible to gauge how difficult it would be to replace it with a old fashioned claw tub when we redo the bathroom. Major plumbing/project or avg run of the mill? Any special considerations I should take into account?
