Plumbing through floor - new vanity

We want replace our current double sink vanity however I noticed that the plumbing is through the floor rather than the wall. The wall separates the bathroom from the master bedroom and is only 2? inches thick which is why I'm assuming the plumbing is through the floor.

How do I need to factor in this plumbing set up with picking out a new vanity. If I do a open space vanity on the bottom does that mean all my plumbing will be exposed? Or if I get a cabinet vanity is it going to have to be cut/gutted to fit plumbing - or is there another option? Here's a link to one of the vanities I'm considering ordering.

I would make the wall thicker behind the vanity, then the pipes can be in the wall.
With nice cabinets like that, you don't want to see the pipes.
Plus, those cabinets hang from the wall.
You will need more structure than what you have.

How thick of a wall would you recommend?

The smallest I would go would be a 2x4 as long as you haven't cut large holes through it.

You are looking at a medium sized remodeling job to use that cabinet. First you will need a "real" wall, then the plumbing has to be routed into it, including some provision for a vent.
