Toto water level problem

I had a Toto Drake toilet installed last week, and noticed the water level in the bowl getting very low about an hour or so after flushing it. I called Toto support, who said it was either a problem with the toilet leveling, the house venting, or a crack in the trapway. The installer came back, ruled out the leveling and venting, and put (at Toto's suggestion) the bowl on some blocks and poured water in. The water drained out pretty noticeably.

I returned the bowl and got a replacement. The installer came back, but wanted to check it out before putting it back in. We did the same thing with the blocks, and while the water isn't draining nearly as noticeably, it's still dripping (slowly) after over an hour.

I guess I can just leave it alone overnight and see where the level is in the morning, but am pretty confused - should it be dripping at all, or really not? About how deep should the water be in the bowl (it's about 4.5 inches from the very bottom to the top of the water now, which looks low to me, but maybe I'm just not used to low flush toilets)?

Thanks in advance for any advice,
