I want to say this site is a GEM!

I found out about PB Blaster on this forum. I had to repair an old drippy Peerless kitchen faucet, but couldn't get the cap off to get to the seats & springs. We tried WD40 on 2 different ocassions, letting it sit overnight both times. But it wouldn't loosen. My husband also tried to muscle it, but no go.

I read yesterday on here about PB. This was our last try before replacing the whole faucet & sink (we have plans for a kitchen remodel this summer, but the dripping was driving me mad). I sprayed PB on last night, and let it sit overnight. Today, to my surprise, it came loose! I now have a drip-free faucet!

Thanks for the mind-saving tip!

I can't say enough about PB Blaster. I haven't used in on plumbing, but I had seized rotors on my wifes car and after bashing them for hours with a sledge hammer, I soaked them with pb blaster, let them sit a few hours and they popped right off. I always keep a can on hand.

PB blaster is some good stuff. It costs a little more but well worth it.
