Distance for Shower Drain from Vent

Can anyone tell me the distance, according to code, that a 2" Shower drain has to be within from the vent? I think that it is 5', however, I want to be sure. Also, if it is 5' and I end up being over by a couple of inches, other than the inspector, are there real issues I could be facing? I would think that a few inches would be ok.

It's five feet, a few inches should be okay.
