OK, that's something I could see using.
I keep a strap on headlamp in the truck, with the LED's.
They use very little battery and provide plenty of light.

The lighted glasses or headband model would be more convenient since it would be easier to redirect the light without having to adjust the cap or bend your head.

I have the light-on-a-strap rig, two of them actually - I think the cap could be awkward, because you couldn't point the light downwards enough - the bill of the cap would keep your work in permanent shadow, wouldn't it?

I remember those days, never comfortable and if you are tall, forget about walking through a door with one on.

My bosses would routinely fire midgets for supergluing themselves to I-beams. Damn midgets.

Strap light better than hat light

Besides the hat light's bill being in the way for lighting close-up work, the hat light (at 18.99 + ship) compared to this strap model ... http://cgi.****.com/35-LED-Headlamp...categoryZ106984QQtcZphotoQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
is

at least twice as expensive
uses button cells as oppsed to the cheaper AAA's
couldn't be nearly as bright as the 35 LED's on the strap model
