My kitchen sink has an extractable spout and there is a slow leak around the base of the handheld unit and the long hose it is attached to. I tried tightening it, wrapping it with plumber's tape but still a slow leak. There is a rubber washer at the end of the hose where the extension attaches. I will try to find a replacemnt for it.

The facuet is my by Plados. Searching the web, I found its made in Italy and have not found a US supplier or place to buy parts.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately, parts are the bane of the import faucet world. You could try taking the nozzle and hose to a large plumbing supplier and see what they can come up with.

Mine was doing the same thing and I took out the gasket and flipped it over. No more leaking for now.
