galvanized to abs dwv?

I need to remove the old 2" galvanized drain, trap and branch from my main stack. That will leave me with a cast iron 2" female npt. I would like to know what the best method would be for screwing in the new abs 2" male npt.

Go with PVC... (oersonal bias)
Buy a 6" Schedule 80 nipple and cut one ond off ,,,
Screw this nipple into the female cast iron and continue your waste using a coupling at the other end...
The SCH80 nipple is vastly stronger than any DWV male adapter...
