Still have black spots

I wrote awhile ago regarding black spots in the bathtub....I can not find the cause, and tried everything that was suggested.

They appear only in the tub, and can be rubbed out with your finger, but spread like mascara when you do this.

Cleanser takes forever and they are back the next day....only in the tub.

Have you tried Tilex or bleach?

If you have braided flex connectors to the tub, that might be where the black spots are coming from. The liners break down.



Braided lines can cause black spots to show up in tubs.
