I want to tie in a toilet to a 4" main line in the basement.
It is horizontal and 24" away from where I want to put the toilet. I have enough slope.
I am going to use a 3" line going into a wye. It's also about 24" from the line as it comes down from upstairs
1. Do I have to vent it?
2. Do I need to put a back flo preventer in the line?
