bypassing exspensive refrigerator water filter

i am installing a nylon water kit to the refridgerator,i can incorporate a cheap carbon filter (8.00) in line. so I am looking for a way to not use the exspensive filter in the refridge,by pass or eliminate it. can anyone tell me how?

Read your owner's manual. It should tell you how to bypass the built-in filter. If not, call the tech support line listed in the manual and ask them how?

Your refrigerator came with a filter opening plug to close off that opening when the filter is removed.
