Will This Fit?

I've installed new toilets where my boss has told me to install them before. Unfortunately, I need to replace a toilet for a friend now. The rough-in is 11" (from the molding,) but the American Standard Plebe he has is pretty tight to the wall. Really tight. I'm assuming the Plebe is a 12" rough-in toilet that had just enough room to squeeze in there, and I'd like to replace it with the toilet in the link below.

Has anybody installed one and can tell me if there's enough room to fit into an 11" rough?
I haven't been able to find the specs to see how it stacks up dimensionally to the Plebe.

Or knows if American Standard toilets usually have enough room?
Or can even take an educated guess?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Rough in is measured from the wall.
If you have 11" to the floor mold, you should be fine.

Most molding is about 3/4" thick.

It seems that a standard 12" rough will work with 11-1/4" in most cases.

I don't know how others do it.. I got my measurements just from old fashioned figuring it out. When roughing in I measure 13 1/2" to center from the bottom plate of the studs. The sheet rock will be 1/2"... 13" to center of flange. For other problems there is an offset flange available so you can shift it an inch in any direction.

I used to do something similar, but the last time I just went for the 12-1/2" mark from frame and ended up with a tank tight to the studs. Go figure, eh?! But, the tank has three bolts and was assembled when I got it, so I suspect I can make some adjustment when re-installing the tank after the wall has been finished.
