View Full Version : New bathroom floor and flange help

I am putting a new ceramic tile floor in my bathroom. I had some water damage and therefore had to remove the subfloor.
My new subfloor, cementboard and tile will be thicker than my previous floor. How do I get my toilet flange to the proper height?

Also, the old flange broke in half. What is the best/easiest way to fix that? I was looking at a product called a Super Ring, but the instructions on it are quite vague.

Do I screw the flange directly to my new subfloor or should I reinforce with more wood underneath?

This is my first time working on something like this; seems pretty straight forward but I want to be sure.
