Describe the system...then the problem????? I can think of a few different kinds of hot water heating systems... boilers, radiant heat, water heaters, heat exchangers, lots of stuff.....

Ok. Hot water system boiler hot out cold in 2 pipe system.
I want to raise the pipes in the basement to remodel. I have 2 circulatory pumps installed now coming off the boiler.

will this cause any problems and how do you ... cut.. reinstall the pipes?

I'm totally ignorant of boiler systems...but there are a couple of topics recently started on exactly the same question... I'll definitely learn something about them by following these threads.
