Small bath remodel, changing from vinyl to tile w\ electric heat mat...Existing closet flange is mounted on the subfloor (recessed beneath the 1/2" underlayment & vinyl (which has been demo'd). Will be floating about 3/8" to 1/4" of Self Leveling Cement over the top of Warmly Yours heat mat... then DITRA (1/8")... then 5/16" tile (Ceramic DalTile French Quarter)... So the flange "should" be an inch higher than original.

The bath is above a nice crawl space, the plumbing is all abs... "if" the flange will simply re-position @ the new height by lifting it, are there any pre made two-piece spacers that I can bolt through (under the flange), then re-adjust support below?

Try cutting this in half.

I decided to pick up (3) Oatey 1/4" closet flange spacers to raise the 3/4" needed...the problem is the (4) screw holes in the spacers do not line up w/ the original closet flange holes (blue metal ring)...Is it ok to line up the spacer holes & pre-drill (4) through the blue ring where necessary to screw into floor? Or do I need to different spacers...I can't replace existing flange very easily because of HVAC duct work limits access. By the way, installing TOTO Drake thanks to Terry.

Adding holes to the flange should not be a big problem.

I just used one of the same Oatey spacers. Drilled through the existing flange and into the surround slab. Worked like a charm.
