I am tiling my upstairs bathroom. The tile isn't a tight fit to the flange so I was told to fill the small space with some thinset as I was laying the tiles. Is this ok? Also, I bought the plastic toilet extender and it isn't a match for my flange- the screw holes don't line up. What should I do?

Drill some new holes...it would have been better to reset the flange so it was on top of the finished floor, but many people get away with an extender. Make sure to get a good seal between the extender and the original flange.

Buy another flange extension. Try Sioux Chief:
Then , in search type 886-R
